How does Sprint charge for Mobile Hotspot?

I can turn on the pre-installed Sprint Hotspot app and everything works but it says it can't verify my username and/or password. I have not seen any additional charges on my bill either.

Works only on 4g part been working for me even on new update but 4g here sucks balls

this used to be the case for me.. but i just tried it.. my laptop wont connect to any webpages. app turns on.. says 1 device connected...but nothing will load. hmmm.

You read that wrong. it does work...even on 4G. Back in June when it was free it still said that it couldn't log me in due to a username/password failure & I could use it.

To clarify, it still works in 4G but won't log me in...and I'm not being charged.

Well i can use it on 4g the methood i use disable 3g activate hotspot then 4g I can even usb tether to

Or root the phone, download wireless tether, and use that for free

if im reading correctly BooBoo he says he is actually using the hotspot and is not noticing it show up on his bill when he goes to check it.

ooh seems u already answerd lol.

are you checking the bill the same day or a few days later? im curious to know if this just takes a while longer than say a phone call to register on the system and charge
