Re: Weird problem with the EVO?

There are a few threads that talk about this specific problem, its basically a grounding issue with a small percentage of phones. There are a few threads here that already talk about this issue and it was also stated that the latest update fixed the problem for the most part. But also keep in mind that the latest update messed up a small number of phones as well. I guess my first question would be to ask you if you have the latest update on your phone? If you don't already know, its under menu, settings, about phone, software info(or something similar)

The latest update only messed up peoples phones who did the update twice. HTC has since fixed the problem. Yes, the update does fix the screen unresponsiveness.

True but there have been alot of users that have been having issues with the screen having a mind of its own since the update. For example, the phone would register button presses even though you aren't actually pressing anything.

From what I hear the sprint stores get them in on a regular but they sell them just as fast as they come in so if you have to wait I don't think it will be too long. It would be good to see if you can contact someone at one of the stores and see if they can call you when one comes in if they don't have any in stock.

Re: Weird problem with the EVO?

I manipulate everything on my screen except the task bar at the top of the screen when it is laying on the couch. Not a big issue for me because I really don't lay it on the couch to use my EVO. ( someone might sit on it.) Works on the table though.
