Any NRG-esque ROMs?

just bought an evo today and looking to try out a custom rom. now i know theyre based on different flavors but im looking for a good starting point

Lots of rom links and good information. there are roms with sense disabled and some that are skinned as well or you can choose launcher pro. lots of choices. I personally tried the Evolutionx (froyo rom and liked it alot, no camera though. Good luck.

im a personal fan of flipz fresh series... if you check out my youtube chanel in my signature below you will find a walkthrough on many of the roms out there now for the evo.

well ive looked at the directions on rooting and it says its a bad idea to keep stock rom after rooting, anybody know why that is?

I personally did that and was fine. But I did eventually flash. It's like this, if you get freed from prison, why stick around?

I'm not sure, but there are definately a lot of things that could go horribly wrong. At the least flash the rooted stock rom. I use OMJ, everything works on his 1.5 version, and he just got the source kernel so everything will be really awesome soon. People say try em out, but I tried OMJ first and am happy

Good Luck! Remember to install Evo recovery and then run the recovery-windows batch when the evo is in that screen with the exclamation point
