USB Options when plugging EVO into PC

This is really driving me crazy. Everytime I plug my EVO into my PC I'm not getting the option list to either charge it, sync it, etc. It happens quite frequently. I have the Ask Me checked under the Connect PC Settings but for some reason it doesn't ask me all the time. The only thing that fixes it is a soft reset. It'll work for the day but the next day it won't work again. I've done a hard reset twice and still it does it. It's really weird. Anyone else experience this?

Bring down your notifications and then press the USB notification that says either Charge or Sync or Disk Drive or Internet Sharing. It will offer the options. Be sure to uncheck the 'don't ask again' button.

That part I know about. I'm not getting that option when I plug my phone into the PC everytime I plug it in. That's my problem. It works sporadically.

Re: USB Options when plugging EVO into PC

I was having the same issue with DC 3.2.2.1. I just updated to .3 and haven't been able to check yet on this build yet, but it just seemed to be an anomoly. I unplugged and replugged back in about 20 times and it came back eventually. I didn't have time to look into it deeply; however, if you're running Autostarts, I would start there.

I'm running stock right now. I haven't gotten around to rooting yet. This is my 3rd handset. The first one was a Ver 0002 and that all the common problems. That was replaced with a Ver 0003 and I had to replace that one due to water damage because the girl at BB drowned my phone with solution from the Invisishield. That one was replaced with another Ver 0003 and it worked fine the first day when I plugged it into my PC after adding all my apps but then stopped working 2 days after. I haven't installed anything differently than my other two handsets and those gave me the notification everytime I plugged it into the PC.
