APP Help Please

I have been wondering is there an fm transmitter app? reason why is the car i have now doesn't have aux port or anything so out of curiosity i was just thinking hey i wonder if theres an app that can let me transmit my music to my car radio without my having to go out an buying an griffin fm transmitter or similar..

Great idea for the Dev's this would get a lot of attention if it was possible.

There is no hardware in the phone to make it capable of this. An FM transmitter is a completely different creature than a receiver and no software will make it work. The phone transmitter operates in the microwave band so would be impossible to use for 88-108mhz. Only thing you can really do is buy an external unit and connect it to the phone. They can be had as cheap as $10 or so online, and around $20 at your local big box store.

Also, just for note, is there an htc phone that this question hasnt come up about?
