CMD Prompt

I see alot of these videos flashing ROMS onto the evo they are using CMD in some way is there a way to avoid this?

yes but thats the best way... you can go with the 3 step rooting process...

some roms require amons recovery over clockwork so its always best to do through adb and command prompt.

OK cool how do i know if they require amons recovery?? I will be using the simple root method and will be using AOSPEvoSence

roms will tell you, i know fresh requires you to use amons for the mere fact of the freesh updater.... but you should be fine if not mentioned in the thread.

Well i guess i Effed up lol i did the update and its not rootable yet... Guess i have to wait?

yep, they are still trying to find a way to root phones that installed the OTA update
