Transferring apps from old evo to new evo.

Ok guys need some help here. I just activated my new ego from my old one. I had appbrain and synced it. Today I went to reinstall my old apps on my new phone but cant figure out how to do it. I really hope I dont have to manually reinstall my apps. I had a lot of them.

You'll have to - but good thing with appbrain is they are all right there. Once you download the appbrain app from market place, sync it, and choose perform installs. You'll have to press the "install" button on every one of them - but at least they are all in one place, and you don't have to go searching and all of that.

App Brain is awesome. Not certain u have to but I logged into it and added my installed apps to the list and saved it. Like insatiable said, you do have to do the "install" and "ok" dance but it goes quick and no searching thru the market.

If you didnt sync in appbrain then you lose it if you exit. You can use My Backup which is free. You can back up your apps just incase you lose them in appbrain. It'll still prompt you to install 1 at a time though but it beats having to search for them again once they're lost.

i went for the titanium backup donate version, the apps are saved to card and restores without having to prompt for each app
