Re: Movies?????

I use the directions from the following link.

http://www.knowyourcell.com/htc/htc-...tc_evo_4g.html

works awesome.

Remember, you have to start from a legal owned disk.. so, you first need to "rip" the disk. I usually rip just the movie, and make an iso image on my hard drive, then, load that image/movie using magic iso, and it treats it like a virtual drive.

you then follow the directions on the link using handbrake.

Trust me, it is very easy, and the quality is awesome.. people are still awestruck when I flip my kickstand out, and load up avatar on my 4.3 inch screen..

It did for me too, until I installed anyDVD, which runs in the background and then it works.

Does anyone remember what player will let you resume playing from where you were at when you have to leave the movie for something else, perhaps a phone call comes in, or whatever? or some trick?

I use mVideoPlayer which has that function. It's nice.

And for legal ripping, I use Aimersoft. Google a discount code, it's $20. Set it, load the DVD, select the movie and click start. Works like a charm and the movies look killer on the EVO.
