No ETA i guess

I take it there is no "ETA" for the EVO getting Froyo? I really want to run a custom 2.2 rom but i need my camera any soultions or must i wait until July 2011 to get it from sprint??

It will probably be available late july/early august of this year.

Thats what I am thinking as well, no later than august of this year. I know nothing is perfect but I think sprint has done a decent job with the evo so far and I think they will continue to do so.

It will happen before the summer ends...thats atleast been said...will it stick..thats another question...things can happen...dates will change but let's hope it doesn't. I know Froyo didn't like the Sense UI at first...but hopefully that has been ironed out...other than that I think they are on track...atleast we "know" it will happen...most phones that are only a few months older than the Evo arn't getting it at all...so consider us Evo users, or soon to be Evo users lucky. I just hope the 30FPS cap...and speed is noticable when it is released.

All we need is the damn source from htc and we cab have a fully working froyo rom. That's the only reason the camera and bt don't work. The kernel we have isn't official.

Can't anyone just be happy with what we have now? Froyo will come when it comes.

There are so many threads on all the different message boards complaining that Froyo isn't available for the EVO. When it does come, the next version will be mentioned and everyone will be screaming at Sprint and HTC for that one.
