not sure why only the back half would be white.... why not the front... im thinking it would look better all one color.... id like an all red one or hot pink..

Unfortunately it looks like it's just the back that's white, but it's more than just the battery cover it goes up to where the volume keys are basicly before that black front bezel. I would have preferred it to be all white or even the front part white and the back black but heck what ever it will have to do.

Also has anyone notice that sprint is the only one selling the EVO full price at $449.99 everyone else is selling it for $599.99

Its white on the back and black on the front. Its been known since the phone was called the supersonic. I think the reason its black on the front is to save money in production, it uses the same digitizer as the black evo. Check the video of it out here:

On bestbuys website you van pre-order the white evo, it says it will ship within 15 days. My girl just ordered hers. We'll see how it goes
