Advice on returning EVO

Hey, I just got my EVO yesterday and let me just say, coming from the TP2 i LOVE this phone its amazing. But already on the first night I notice light leaking through the bottom under the menu button. And I have a "crackling" earpiece. My call quality is absolutely terrible, its scary how bad it is. I bought the phone from Best Buy so I have 30 days to return. Should I go ahead and return it and hopefully get one thats not a lemon, or should I wait maybe 2 weeks and hopefully the new batches will have these problems fixed?

What is your advice/experience?

Thanks, Kelsey

These aren't common issues, so go for a replacement asap. My call quality is great. Sounds like you have a defective earpiece.

I would do the same thing. You probably do have a defective earpiece. Get that sucker replaced!

You know thats an excellent question. Probably not very many and if they do have them it probably won't be for very long.

Re: Advice on returning EVO

My local best buy is having an unofficial evo exchange list...the bbmobile manager told me they dont know when a fresh batch will come in...but since i was on the list b4 my 30 days were up i should be good.....its not our fault they are out of stock to exchange for defects...soo talk to the manager at your best buy.
