one clock TOO many

I'm wondering if anyone know if there is a way to remove the clock on the notification bar? Or that's probably a bit further down the line...

Since most of us have one type of clock or another on their home screen...I'm would like to remove the clock in the notification tray. I want to KEEP the notification tray...just the clock needs to disappear.

Re: one clock TOO many

Just ditch the big one on the home screen, which gives you a lot more room for widgets or apps. Just press and hold then drag to the trash.

I think something about the big HTC clock, and something about having a large clock on the home screen is something people like, ESPECIALLY HTC WinMo users. I'd prefer to leave the big one, but I think I'm going to take TheBundo's advice for a little while, and just give it a try. That or leave the bottom blank, cuz I keep hittin damn app butons, silly super responsive capacitive screen.

I can all but guarantee you that flashing that will jack your phone up. It's for a different phone with different files and screen resolutions.

I did the same. That big-ass clock took up a TON of home screen space IMHO. I like the little one in the title bar.

Also, check this thread, there are links to some custom taskbars that will work on the EVO.

Re: one clock TOO many

If you use ADW Launcher, you can assign the Home key to hide/show the taskbar.
