Re: Setting up Email "As it Arrives" How?
The only way to do this is with an Exchange account. I'm not sure if Yahoo offers this or not so I don't know if that rout is possible. Another popular option is to set up your Yahoo account to forward all of your mail to your Gmail account which automatically pushes to your phone just like an exchange account.

if im not wrong, i think that will drain your battery even more. since its constanly searching for mail in the background.

Push email (as it arrives) doesn't drain the battery faster. I have synced at least a dozen different phones, both WinMo and Android, to my Exchange server in the last two years and have never had battery issues.

Re: Setting up Email "As it Arrives" How?
I also forward my Yahoo to a Gmail acct., and it gets to my phone a few seconds faster than to my laptop. All I did was enter my username and password, as I recall, and the rest just "happened". The Evo is really optimized for Gmail and the other Google apps
