rooted. Mainly as an effort to better my battery life, which most of the customs certainly do...

I'd rather run official and get my updates from Sprint.
I'll save rooting my EVO for a rainy day. Although it never seems to rain here in Vegas. :P

rooted via Toast method. i flashed the heck out of my TP2 and dont expect anything less from my evo.

Was rooted via Unrevoked, now rooted via Toastch method. About to check out 2.2. I'm stoked about the ability to back up ROMs and quickly flash back and forth if necessary.

Almost a third of owners polled running stock... more than half that did root, used toast's method..

Im rooted... I did it just to put the DROIDDDDDDDDD boot screen with the eye and sound on mine lol
