New software version 6.28?

Well, doesn't seem that this update is going to work for me. When it reboots for the first time it gets stuck at my recovery screen. When I put clock work recovery back I get the triangle exclamation warning thing. I am restoring my custom OMJ rom which works flawlessly anyway right now and I will have to wait for this update to be incorporated in to the custom roms. No biggie. Thanks for all the help people.

I TRIED UPDATING - its been sitting on the "checking" for about 5 minutes now..

im running deodexed damage control rom

It doesn't work on de-dex'd ROMs, per Calkulin in this thread:

I would suggest people turn off their phones. If you did not have ground issues before, now you might. I did the update and I can no longer turn my phone on. version 002

See, I don't look at crazy now as I did early in this thread! I dont plan to install yet am I'm still rooted!

Never thought you were crazy. You did make a good point. For the rest of us that have not rooted I beleive we have enjoyed the update. Hopefuly the cooks will be releasing a new roms with the update included.

Just a side not I am all out of "thanks" for today. I will have to catch up tomorrow for those that have helped in this thread.

Haha. How has this update Been though? Does it do as advertised or does it have magical powers for the battery and screen as we all hoped?

The reception on my WiFi has been a bar better and Some claim the grounding issue has been fixed. I will have to give it a few days to see if battery life has been changed for the best.
