2 Facebook Apps?
I installed system panel and it says I have fb and fb for htc. I am trying to disable the sync. when i open the fb app, hit menu, then tell it to never sync, dors that also prevent it from syncing with contacts?

You may also need to go into Settings -> Accounts & Sync and set the Sync options for your FB account (those are the settings for Facebook for HTC Sense versus just the standard FB app)

I think one is the FB Android app and the other is the HTC app for your contacts

^ correct one is the built in syncing for contacts from HTC and one is Facebooks actual app
