Ringtones and text tones

how do I set my phone to use ring tones and text tones that i downloaded from my computer to work on my phone?

Just make a folder in your memory card called "ringtones", and place your ringtones in there. Make another one called "Notifications" for text and email sounds and you should be good to go

This is how it's done. You should have no problem if you follow these directions. But...

I did notice that you need to restart your phone in order for these changes to take effect after first creating the folder.
I also realized that if you go to the widget menu and select "Get more HTC Widgets" (The VERY first selection) the "Ringtone Widget" will allow you to select these tones without restarting.

and you cant be accessing the sd card via usb
