Found this on another site....

EVO Gets Another Firmware Update

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another update will be available on 6/28/2010 which will be received OTA per the Plumber.

It is supposedly fixes the following:

Wifi performance.....
EAS inhancements..... etc
And cafbook sync issue and other apps related for better battery usage....

Good because my wifi sucks on mine, router is only 50 ft from me and has poor signal strength.

probably not and besides if you're rooted running a custom rom you will want to wait to make sure the update doesn't break root etc.

Best to just wait till the devs look at the update and soon after most custom roms will include it like they did the .6 update..
