Yeah it works pretty well, but honestly, using swype lets you send a message with 160 characters in 20-30 seconds

Re: Voice Texting works on this phone?

I don't know about the swype or regular keyboard but I've been pleased with the voice to text functionality - its pretty accurate and I don't have to correct so many fat finger mistakes I make from the keyboard.

It's weird that you say that, you are probably the second person I've heard (and I have a thread withh 200+ swype-related posts) who doesn't like swype. Once you spend a couple of days using it, I would vouch that it is physically impossible for it to slow you down, because down to it's core it's more efficient... To every geek his own, I guess.

Well considering swype was created by the co-founder of the T9 text input mode, and because it is now making deals with major laptop and tablet producers to put it stock on new devices, I highly doubt that they plan on hacking your personal data.. But hey, it does say that... IF you are on the old one. The new version in the link in my sig doesn't.
