The thing you guys need to remember is that with both these programs........the person you're trying to PTT has to have the program too! With they voicemail app, anybody who can receive a voicemail can get your message and reply to it...........and they don't have to have the voicemail app installed!

I wish Android came with PTT on it already...........
that would be ULTIMATE to me!

Re: Voice Texting works on this phone?

Like clockcycle said..........usually passwords aren't words swype would have in it's dictionary already.........so when you type your username and password in.........it will store it so you can swype it the next time and not input it manually! But your password will be in there though, comes in handy too!

Question Re: Voice Texting works on this phone?

Question... i have a few different keyboards installed... HTC_IME mod, ShapeWriter, Swype and Multi-Touch... and my speech to text is not working when i go and change my input type back to the Touch Input (stock) type. Would the other keyboards be causing this issue? Thanks
Keri

Re: Voice Texting works on this phone?

I tried Swype, but I didn't find it any more efficient than the regular typing and auto-correct from the stock android keyboard. I use the speech-to-text feature all the time though, and I find it very accurate, but sometimes it flips out and translates something completely different. I just have to remember that I need to speak as if I was typing, and not as if I was talking on the phone.
