figured since I needed to take the photo, I'd take one with the evo and one with nikon d40. both had auto settings used and were taken within 15 minutes of each other I think. let's see who figures out which was taken with which.

I say the bottom one was taken with the Evo. The only way I'm really able to tell a difference is the lighting in the back, and the way the parts with so much sun on them are a bit washed out on the bottom picture, while the camera on the top was obviously able to compensate. Otherwise the items in the foreground look great on both.

My guess is the bottom one too... The colors on the chest plates in the first pic seems to rich. Besides that, the images are nearly identical... Pic one seems to be a bit more crisp with the details. You can almost make out the details in the medallion on the center chest plate at the bottom...

It's nice to see a side by side comparison like this...

I guessed the top one. The depth of field seems to be a little stationary feeling to me. Less cement, more bushes on the right?

I dunno, other than that its pretty darn close.
