bought the evo and starting to regret it.

we all know the simple unlock thru sd card thing wher a single click does it all forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61333 and there is an even easier way to jailbrek/unlock the iphone. but i've going a few days now with the "over the hedge, take the president of sprint out to lunch way of doing the evo, and it's time to start over. i really miss the way you can choose where to install an app and it stays there for ever thing with wm. and after doing a root on evo, the apps avail in marketplace that i ran before rooting are gone. even after a hard reset, the programs for my tp are still in sd card with the settings i left them at, passwords for net sites, bookmarks, tweaks. after rooting evo, everything was gone. and ther is no option to save to sd card from stock fresh start like wm. i can put my sd card in any diamond, d2, tp, tp2 and carry on like nothing without skipping a beat. and i was so excited to go to the evo.

Re: bought the evo and starting to regret it.

You can't be serious.
EVO is leaps and bounds ahead of the tp.
Use mybackup to backup all apps and data to SD.
There are also ways to move apps2sd.

EVO is the new SmartKing.
I did everything with the tp and loved it. Great device but EVO is King.

Re: bought the evo and starting to regret it.

Their are a number of backup application which save all your data to your sd card, and even better then the TP on the Evo you can save your complete ROM on the sd card as backup and restore that rom any time.
Try using Titanium Backup through the marketplace.

Re: bought the evo and starting to regret it.

Maybe it's me but your post was pretty hard to follow. lol

So what you are saying is that you went out to dinner with Dan Hesse and then you guys got arrested and then tried to break out of jail using an Android app but it didn't work because the app wasn't on your phone when you went to open it?

So do you guys need bail money? Is that what your asking for here?
