Re: no incomeing text message vibrate

This happened to me as well. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with uninstalling some of the Sprint bloatware.

Re: no incomeing text message vibrate

You might want to try this

Stass333 "found a fix on android forums.

"I found a fix for this. Download 'Sound Manager' from the Android Market and go to MENU, VIBRATE SETTINGS. Under NOTIFICATION SETTINGS, 'Don't Vibrate' was checked EVEN THOUGH my other settings were configured to vibrate for texts and emails.

I changed the setting to 'Vibrate Whenever Possible' - and this has now restored my vibrating email and text message notifications."

after that i uninstalled the application and it still vibrates"

I did this but it still didn't work. I'm running Baked Snack 9.6 and vibrating suddenly stopped overnight. Any other ideas?

Thanks Sound Manager worked for me. My Evo now vibrates for all notifications without having to Hard Reset

Re: no incomeing text message vibrate

I found that Handcent SMS broke my vibration for text messages. If you have/had that installed that probably did it. I didn't know about the Sound Manager app, so I hard reset and it came back, but maybe try the Sound Manager first.
