I know this might sound stupid...but i need help

Im taking a road trip 14 hour drive....i want to use my phone for gps...but i dont what incoming calls during the trip.....is there a way to use gps and have phone off so i want recieve calls? or should i buy a gps.....i really just want my phone in dash.....help please

What if she calls while your in route? You wouldn't want her to worry would you?

Just switch on Airplane mode and then make sure your gps is on.

airplane mode doesnt turn off gps?........all my girl can call my work blackberry....

I just tested it on my Evo, turned on Airplane mode and then switched on my GPS and the phone radio was still off.
