apps crashing camera...how to turn OFF FM radio and various other apps from...

Had my camera and camcorder crash on me this morning. Not a FC...but an actual close and return to home. after experimenting with 3 different ROMs and various stages of apps install and uninstall. Seems that AdFree Android might have been the culprit. Can anyone confirm this...because I wouldn't want to have another camera issue when a camera worthy moment comes up.

Secondly...I'm running OMJ's ROM...there are still several processes that are starting up on their own...and running in the background: FM radio, Voice Dialer. If I removed them thru an uninstall app...will it affect functionality of the phone...also, is there a way of just turning them off altogether.

I'm not familiar with adb...and am learning the nitty gritty of android at a snail's pace...but a step by step tutorial I can definitely follow.

I was using OMJ for about a week and never had any issues with the cameras... in fact no issues in general. You may have either a bad flash or your phone hardware could be defective. I would try re flashing but make sure you wipe both DATA and dalvik cache.

I have AdFree and my cameras are fine. I am using an alpha version of my own ROM, however.

the camera started crashing when I went to fresh .3...i did a clean flash (wiped data AND D cache twice) before the flash. On a clean ROM...the camera had NO ISSUES. It was only after I started loading in apps that the crashing started. Its definitely not a bad flash. Every time it happened it was AFTER apps were installed.

I'm having this camera crash issue right now on the stock ROM with the OTA update installed. I was just about to try to hard reset and probably try to flash a custom ROM in order to fix this issue.
Even worse, I think it may have deleted all my videos (the ones shot with the phone). I can't see them anymore at least when I connect as disk drive and browse the 100 media folder.

I'm having this issue now, phone is rooted and running the Sprint Lovers Evo ROM. anyone find what's causing th is??

Ran Fring, then went to open my camera and it pulled up fine.
