Help: Evo reboots during call if using Sprint Nav

If I am using the factory Sprint GPS software and make a phone call, the phone call will go through for a few minutes but the phone will inevitably reboot mid-call. Before the phone reboots I can swap back/forth between the call and GPS program without a problem. Even if I don't swap it still reboots.

Phone does not reboot if just making a phone call, or if just using the Sprint GPS software alone.

I do not have any task killing software nor is the phone rooted.

Any ideas?

Does it do the same thing with Google Navigation? Since I've been running rooted roms on my Hero, I got used to Google Nav, and stopped using the Sprint Nav. Test it out, and see what happens.

This is probalby a good time to plug Google Nav. This will probalby put Tomtom and other out of business on the android platform. The problem doesn't happen to me with Google either. Give it a try!

I don't have any problems with Sprint Nav but I have also had problems with random reboots just as many other have. Just to close this out: I hard reset the phone and re-installed the Sprint Nav update. This seems to have cleared it up. It has never happened again.. I also have the current HTC OTA update on the phone.

I had this happen twice using Google maps and navigation. Phone calls were disrupted with reboots. This was after the OTA update stock unrooted.
Speaking of Sprint Nav is anyone having the flashing random useless traffic bars issue I reported before and after the Sprint Nav update? Traffic is basically useless which is why I have been using Google Maps with the traffic layer activated. It is not real useful however. It doesn't update often enough as I sit in a backup and the thing still shows a green bar.

I too just had this problem today, running google nav. Rebooted right in the middle of my phone call was really annoying first time ive had this happen to me. I am running OMJ v1.6 rooted rom.

Same thing I had to do was screaming and yelling at this phone on I-5 Friday night rofl

Had this happen twice Sunday. Freaked me at first and then realized it must be the Google Nav causing it as it's the only time it's ever rebooted on me during a call. lol
