Can anyone confirm who is using exchange 03 with email set to "as it arrives" that you actually get your email without having to open the email app first...if so what settings are you using as I am still unable to get email unless I set it to an interval...

I am using the stock email application with Exchange and it is working fine for me. However, I have peek defined as M-F from 0000-0059. It is also set to refresh when the application opens.

i have the same problem. I yahoo mail it only shows new mail when i press the mail icon. i have it set up to send new mail each hour it does not work.

I wish I had ggod news. I am having the same issue. (Exchange 2003 SP2) Up until a few days ago I had my TP2 and Evo running side-by-side. The mail issue was uber-apparent. Mail would usually show up on my TP2 BEFORE it would arrive in my Outlook client on my desktop. The Evo was another story. It would seem to work for a while, but then, just when you thought it was working well, mail would stop arriving. I'd open the client and the refresh on open would make the mail show up. If I delete and re-setup the client it would work for 2 or 3 days, then crap out again. Today, it's not working at all, regardless of what I do. I've tried it on two Exchange servers, my company server and my personal Exchange server here at home, and neither is working properly. The TP2 is gone and I have nothing to verify against the Evo. This sucks!

I do not use push but I am also having mail issues. I really like the way the mail is suppose to work, unfortunately it does not work that way though...least not for me. I can't even attach multiple pictures, had to send them 1 at a time......

I stopped trying to get it to work with Exchange and just started using POP3 from my mail server on my EVO. Not the ultimate answer but it works.

i don't see this issue. i have stock setup on exchange on my android.

settings:
peak time: m-f 5pm-6pm
off peak: items set for as they arrive.

i get email every time one lands in my inbox. and if I've read it on my PC it auto updates my EVO. my company running exchange 07 though. don't know if that makes a difference.
