Troubles w/Remote RDP Enterprise via VPN?

Hey everyone,

I'd like to know if any of you have had trouble with Remote RDP Enterprise from your phone to a server via VPN (3g and WiFi)? I ask because when I try it, I get a black screen and it doesn't connect. (once in a while, it will connect, and I'll get the logon screen, but it'll freeze there and FC.)

Now, if I'm at work, on the wifi, it works perfectly.

Also, I've tried remote VNC through VPN, and it works, but I'm not happy with its interface. I've also tried Remoid, and it works through VPN, but I don't like its interface either.

I have no troubles at all when connecting from any of my laptops/netbooks, only from the EVO on VPN. Any ideas?

It's not a flash issue, as I've said in the first post, that it works with other RDP programs. And I AM the IT guy.

Re: Troubles w/Remote RDP Enterprise via VPN?

Has anybody found a solution for this? My laptop can connect to the vpn fine using the hotspot feature on my evo. As soon as I try and connect to the remote desktop on our server I get disconnected. Our company runs XP pro and Win 7 on our laptops and they all work from regular wifi connections but none of them work with the sprint hotspot. Our IT guys is dumbfounded. All of them can connect to the vpn but the connection crashes whenever we try and open remote desktop. Server in win server 2003 if that makes a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this was one of the main reasons we turned in our blackberries and switched to the evos.

Just to clarify, we are not trying to work on the phone, simply use them as wifi hot spots. Remote desktop is on the laptops.

Thanks, David
