evo bugs?

I just rooted my evo. I used the Supersonic_1.32.651.1_rooted rom. I have a few bugs. When in a call I hit the power buton to blank my screen. It will come back on it own???
I have wifi tethering working. if I hit su app it will show that wifi is running as root. But I tried a over - under clocking app it can't seem to get root. it just times out? Did I root wrong?

You should post in the thread of the rom you're using. Can't call it an EVO bug when you're using a custom rom.

The first part...you shouldnt have to press the power button to "blank" your screen, once you place it to your ear it goes off, then when you remove from your ear it comes back on.
