Error Message on my 6day old Evo

So i started getting this error message last night on my Evo
"The process com.htc.bg has stopped unexpectedly please try again" its mainly happening after going to a new page while browsing online or after sending or receiving a text msg .... after calling sprint they're not sure sd i will need to hard reset my phone only problem my contacts arent backed up and I dont have the slightest idea on how to back up my contacts to my gmail its only showing 22 when i have close to 300 phone contacts

Change your wallpaper one time and then back to what you have it as. Are you using a live wallpaper?

To backup contacts...

Open "people" -- hit menu -- import/export -- export to sd card -- select an account (repeat for the other account) - hit yes....

To restore... import them.

Im using the htc sense setting and had a pic as the back ground nothing else

thanks im imported them to my memory card but how about going to my actual gmail account?

Still, do the following. Change to an image in your gallery or something and then change back to whatever you may have had.

The ones on your gmail account are safe regardless. You can goto gmail and import the files you exported onto your card if you would like to consolidate them to gmail.

Thanks figured out how to back up my contacts but i had to do a hard reset on it, which i did around 4pm and I havent had problems since so we shall see
