Read the forums, you will find that people have been able to fix the battery life issue with tweaks....you also have to realize that the Evo is a more advanced device with a way bigger screen, faster processor and that it has the ability to use 4G data...does the Pre have any of that? I was just trying to throw out there what more this phone has to offer...battery life can be dealt with...and there is proof that people have been able to get more out of it.

that question has entered my mind. but the question of what device would i get in place of evo also entered my thoughts. i find myself in need of a physical keyboard but only device with a good 1 is tp2 n i cant use that laggy sh!t again. none of the supposed fixes for better battery really work on my evo n i refuse to disable some of the major features which attracted me to it in the first place. but the speed of the device itself is amazing. some folks must have paid retail or close to it so they defend their purchase. i paid only tax n nothing else for the phone n my job pays the bill so im basing my decision purely on what i think of evo. i will tinker with evo for another week or 2 then i have to decide. the market is nice but any android phone has access to that.

What kills me is that you can go into just about every phone forum here at PPCGeeks and they will all have threads griping about battery life in the beginning. The Hero is running half the processing power and 3/4 of the screen size and people bitched about it too. Its a POCKET PC, those of us that have had PPCs know that you keep chargers everywhere just in case.

There is no sense going up into a phone forum where the discussion should be about customization, troubleshooting and just plain ole good comradery about their new phone and bitch because you dont like it. You think that the EVO fairy will come out of the forums and magically fix all of your issues??? I mean come on. Go back to the forums of the phone you originally came from and bitch about your purchase.

These threads are as if an Atheist walked up into a church and started cussing God. No one is forcing you to take the phone so what are you trying to do, take some people down with you?? Unfreakingbelievable......

love this thread. in before lock or someone gets banned. imo all battery life sux and so will my next phone, return it and be done. post when next ppc has chitty life to so we can do all this again.

Well somebody's got to stand up.... how about the post were the guy wants everyone to got to all the review websites and give the EVO a one star because he can't record conversations. I'm just getting tired of reading all this garbage. It is typical I mean look at the TP and the TP2,.. man did/does it take some abuse. I apologize I guess maybe I was a little abrasive.

still a open to opinions site so maybe dont read the threads with bad titles.

This thread was great coming out of the gate, but the honeymoon period is over and from what I can see, there is nothing to justify this train wreck going down the tubes. I was hoping to see some real intellectual difference but so far this performance is poor and i RARELY see any point in keeping this thread open.

I am thinking about closing it before the 30 seconds and getting my full refund.
