Um, HTC stuff all is based in China. Everything made comes from China. This is not from any other place different from where the real OEM stuff comes from..

I just mean that everyone is always saying that these generic batteries are dangerous and I think that it's unfounded.

I kind get what he was tryna say. Not to say china is bad, but unless its a name brand or an oem, history has spoken for its self. These products wont be good for long, expect these two batteries to have the capacitance of one after a good months use lol

Basically what I meant by what I said was the fact they are so cheap...it's basically "You get what you pay for" Yeah they may work in your phone, but the question is how long, are they reliable? They all may be from China, but that doesn't mean they all come from the same factory, or are even built the same...quality wise. I've seen alot of people get burned on the deals, just to find out the battery is defective, doesn't hold a charge or blows up in their phone. It's a risk I'm not willing to take. Just curious? How much was the shipping for that battery or batterys? |

Re: 2batteries & battery wallcharger - $9.98!
For all anyone knows this is HTC oem battery's. One of the line supervisors runs it at night and produces a shifts worth and sells it on the black market, its exactly how the world turns. If you read any newspaper or trade magazine you will see tons of storys about knock offs being ran on the same production line as the real product. or KIRFS as they are called.
The only differeance is a couple of stickers and look carefully at the serial and production numbers they most likely are all the same etc etc..... Anyhow As a few have stated everything is pretty much made in china so buying a no name battery doesnt seem to be that scary of a deal and for the price not to much you can lose out on. If you worried about fire make sure your plugged into a propperly grounded and fused outlet you should be ok.... I am going to order a couple myself. thanks for the find Anyone have any experiance with this product? http://cgi.ebay.com/Amzer-1800-mAh-L...item255aed18c5 Last edited by rjmjr69; 06-15-2010 at 03:29 AM. |
