hard reset last night. WOW @ the battery life today is all i will say. i generally hate seeing ppl say "hard reset" it gives me winmo nightmares but im at 85% now at 2 hours off the charger yesterday with very similar usage i was in the 40% area ... & i am using the phone quite a bit for browsing, texting & editing docs. i hope the fiddling with apps n then uninstalling them dont leave left over ish that causes the issues i cant keep hard resetting on a frequent basis lol. hope sum1 gets to the bottom of it
You shouldn't have to. A hard reset just basically makes it easy to clean everything out. Android has alot of tools available to help you figure out what is killing battery. The best tool is spare parts in the app catalog. It can show you what apps/processes are keeping your phone from sleeping aka partial awake.
yea i checked that out n i didnt find anything really causing partial awake which is causing me confusion ..... i tried so many methods and took ppls advice on what to check or set and got frustrated i said wtf n hard reset ... im at 66 % now where this time yesterday with similar use i was heading home to get my tp2 battery cuz i was at like 16 n didnt have constant access to power n need phone to work.

Spare parts didn't show me the calendar was keeping it awake until I did a restart. But you swapping batteries should have caused that. Well I'm glad it's working now and you're seeing that this phone actually does get good battery life for a smartphone.
