Please Help / Very Annoying

Sorry if this has been asked I tried searching but didnt find anything

Im on a call and another call comes in & they leave me a voicemail and the ringer is going off and I cant hear the other person. Very annoying

Any help will be appreciated

Has this happen to anyone else ? Only solution that i have found is to keep phone on vibrate ?
Any other suggestions ?

Hmmm its hasn't happened to me thank god but if I am playing music n if a call comes in n if I pick up music still keeps in playing n o think that's with everybodys Evo I guess but Nuttin like your problem ...best I can say is it might be defective need to contact Sprint n get replacement

What ROM?
What software are you running?
Taskkillers?

advanced task killer by rechild - I have removed this but did not help

i just tested this, mine only beeps and does not play the ringer out loud.

are you using ringdroid or any ringtone apps?

Sorry should have also asked, are you rooted? Fully including Nand?

doing a little investigating (okay, google searching), I found nothing that exactly matches what you're going through, but have you set your options in Sounds and Display to have the "Quiet ring on pickup" as unchecked?

I am not ringdroid or any ringtone apps. I have my settings at
a) ringer volume..all the up
b) notification volume...all the way down
c) notification sound.. simple low.

Also when im on a call and someone leaves a voicemail I hear a message that says call xxx-xxx-xxxx to retrieve your voicemail
