Re: Does warm EVO equal bad battery life?

I know this goes without saying, but mine only gets warm when overclocked. otherwise it stays pretty cool.

Re: Does warm EVO equal bad battery life?

Mine gets warm, even in standby. I can get about 50 minutes of internet out one charge and go through 3 batteries a day. Called Radioshack for a replacement and they have no clue when they'll be getting more phones.

Re: Does warm EVO equal bad battery life?

My phone runs slightly warm from time to time (ie charging and prolonged use) but I havent really ever had a battery issue. I did go into settings a while back and change from gsm to cdma but even before that I was getting pretty good usage out of my phone. (Hardware build 003)

Try this app. Network monitor. It gives a great look at network usage. On my high drain phone I sometimes get up to 8 gb of data use in a single day. This app lets me see the data use in real time. Still trying to figure out exactly which app our apps is the culprit and if this excessive usage is what's causing my random reboots.
