Opera mini desktop view help

Hi i am trying to change the config file on opera mini so that i can see all pages in desktop view like i used to on my TP. i did a search and found this....

but OPERA MINI FOR ANDROID does not seem to have this is its config: settings

"the reason it does that is because your user agent is currently Internet Explorer Mobile so it automatically directs you to the mobile version of sites. what you want is for your browser to be recognized as a desktop browser so all you need to do is:

1. Enter "opera:config" into your Opera address bar

2. Scroll down to "User Prefs"

3. Scroll down to "Custom User-Agent"

4. Enter the following:

Opera 9.7 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en)

5. Restart of Opera. "

Any help please!!!!

Re: Opera mini desktop view help

I have Opera Mini on both a Touch Pro 2 and the EVO in front of me now. opera:config brings up the exact same list on both phones.

The instructions you have below are for opera mobile, not opera mini.

Try clicking on the the wrench at the bottom right of the screen and then settings. There is a mobile version setting in there that may help.
