Re: I droppe my phone and the screen shattered...

I dropped mine from counter height. I was able to get my foot under it to break the fall, but it still hit the tile floor. I feel extremely lucky it didn't do any damage.

Re: I droppe my phone and the screen shattered...

Just read the idea of taking it with the forward facing camera, good idea. Here is a quick picture attached while at work. I will take more with my username or something if the need be when I get home using the ff camera. Also for those who think I'm bsing, I have no incentive to lie. Just making the issue known.

Picture is attached.

It also seems that most breaks of an Evo's screen are coming from the bottom corners of the glass, ironically also the place (bottom of the screen) where people are report light leakage/lifting. Just pointing it out.

My phone fell vertically onto the floor, and from the looks of the crack it hit the bottom right first.

That is why I use a case on mine. Get insurance if you dont have it yet. make a couple of calls and then file a claim.

Must have just hit the sweet spot. That sucks. I've dropped mine off the dresser from about 5 feet, but I have a case on it.

Re: I dropped my phone and the screen shattered... Now with a picture.

I'm guesing it hit that sweet spot as well and I did have the lifting glass issue/light leakage issue. I'm sensing a close correlation. Also to add to detail, I have a Sprint anti-glare screen protector on it, so that is what is keeping everything together.
