Disable Sense
having read up on the thread in the Incredible Forum...I'm assuming that there is NO WAY to completely disable Sense.

Sure there is. Do a search if you are inspired. If you are feeling lazy...read on...
Go to settings/applications/manage applications/HTC Sense/Clear Defaults. Press the home button. Select "Use by default for this action" and click Launcher (Or whatever the name is of the one that isn't HTC Sense).
