Re: EVO VPN to CISCO
I personally haven't tried yet but know it is possible. But do know that Cisco is if not already about to come out with a native client, so that will help. But I know there are ways to do it without it. Once I have time I will try it. Sorry I know this wasn't much help but just giving you hope.

Yep i have read that exact thread (and about 20 others) i can not believe that you can't get from an android to a CISCO box... It was a breeze on WinMo (even works on my wifes iPhone (cough cough)) but not in Android... wow.... |

Re: EVO VPN to CISCO
WinMo and I-phone have been around for some time now... Give the droid sometime to get caught-up... I think he's doing pretty good so far playing catch-up...
Remember it took some time to implement in WinMo... I'm sure we'll see something soon, especially if there is a demand for it!!! |

Re: EVO VPN to CISCO
what type of VPN protocol are you trying? I was able to successfully connect to our PPTP vpn connection at work which connects through a Cisco ASA. Havent gotten IPsec to work yet though if that's what you're trying.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; Sprint APA9292KT Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)
Which cisco vpn box are you talking about? I have a pix 501 running at my place that i can test out. Need to know, the pix and the asa's authenticate differently |
