Is there any way to control flashing LED's ?

I'm just trying to find a way for the LED's to continue to blink when i have a new email or text message. any idea how to accomplish this? still trying to figure everything out after moving from winmo

The controls are under settings, sound and display, then all they way at the bottom notification flash...the only problem that I can see is even if I disable the flashing, it still flashes on certain things no matter what. E-mail, and voicemail are the two that I have noticed...I have also confirmed this on 4 EVO's
