how to do wired tether unrooted or unrevoked rooted for free like td, tp, td2, tp2?

how to get 5m in mms like arcsoft app does for windows?

You cant tether for free unrooted.

Really? Because I tested PDANet today and was tethered just fine without root.

I was using the free version on marketplace. Think it said only difference is you can't go to https sites unless you pay. Figured I would test the free one first to see if it worked since not to many secure sites I would need to go to when tethered.
