What the heck...I just used the speednet widget at my work in Fremont CA (3g only) and I'm getting close to 2000kbps downstream. WHOA! At home in San Jose I was just getting 800 something. But to reply to the post...the EVO is getting more than what my TP2 is getting so no issue with speed at all.

Download the PRL for alltel/verizon. I went from .24mbps to 1.6 in the same area.
