Random Facebook Notification, and blank white screen

Does anyone get random facebook notifications?

I have friendstream off, facebook sync once a day (early in the morning it updates, around 5:40am)...

I some times get a random notification, i.e. today I received a new message to my inbox.

Also, I go to open the notification and it directs to my browser but I just get a white screen.
