It Glows

Its a defect,ive already been through this for the passed 2 weeks..Currently waiting for my replacement to arrive from HTC.

fyi:HTC said to me that the buttons are not supose to be lit at all when the phone is locked.Not even a little.Look between the screen and the front of the phone,you can clearly see 4 lit LED's

I will check to see how long its lit for. I'm hoping it does turn off after a minute or so. Thanks for the tip guys.

Well after turning off the screen and let it sat for a good hour, the softkeys were still slightly lit. I wonder how much power it's consuming and if it's even worth getting a replacement. I don't wanna end up with one that has the screen lifting issue.

Dragging up old news, but I recently noticed this phenomenon too. While the phone is sleeping. I could swear this just recently started happening. The Glow.. is very faint, but its definitely the leds causing this. I have flashed a few different roms, wiped fully between each ect. The two things that could have caused this was, I recently flashed amons 1.8.0 recovery, and the latest ota rooted.

My main concern is how this effects battery. It cant take much power to make the lights "glow", but its has to use some. Is it worth taking phone back in for replacement?
