Where at in the DFW are you ?

I live in the Duncanville area... 3G on my Touch Pro sucks.. I'm getting 300k down at the most.. even in down town Dallas may be 500k... I think it my ROM im using.. but then again i went to Tulsa Oklahoma i was getting 2meg down easy. Can't wait till i get the 4G to see if the 3G is any faster.

Haha. This took me from .5mbps to .05 mbps And I tried it several times in several places...Guess this isn't for me

I guess it really depends where you are located and who has the most towers by you. Some people using stock Sprint say they have great speeds on stock where others are having the same slow speeds I had. Apparently Verizon has more towers by me. I have repeatedly tested it and always have 1MB or higher with one going up to 2MB.

If you want to revert back to Sprint's PRL,I don't think you can just update your PRL from the phone.....you'd need to put a sprint prl on the card and do it manually...

least thats what I had to do when I tried this.

I just tried it from the Alltel PRL I was using and it reverted to Sprint's 60665 just fine.

The Update PRL from from the Device Self Service worked and switched back to the Stock Sprint PRL.

On another note...My friend has Verizon and has the Incredible and gets download speeds of 1.8mbps in my area...I was hoping the PRL would get me that D: haha
