Gallery won’t display existing pictures after hard reset

I did a hard reset (Clear storage) on my EVO and now gallery will not display my existing pictures. All my pictures are stored on SD card in /DCIM/100MEDIA folder. I can open them with file explorer but for some reason they are not showing in the gallery. I can only see pictures that I took after the reset. Any idea how to resolve this?

Try going into the default settings in the gallery and checking all pictures in default folder.

Go into Settings, Connect to PC, and change Default Connection Type to Charge Only. See if that helps.

This is probably your issue. if you don't have the gallery set to the "all pictures" folder, it will default to the new camera shots.

All the options are checked in Gallery\settings\default albums\. Still photos that I took before hard reset are not in the gallary. What is interesting if I go to /sdcard/dcim/100media/ I can see all of my pictures
