You're welcome. I'm new to android so I don't know how to disable the standard battery icon.

Re: SysTray Monitor - Battery percentage or memory usage on notification bar
I'm one that has clicked the thanks button a zillion times more than it has been clicked for me. but from reading your description I cant tell how to do either. How I found this was from the search by title only chingus and I want the thing that tells everyone else how much percentage they are using on their.......everything. If you (or the next helpful person that reads this) cannot tell me what that app is than all I want is a program/all that tells me about my battery. Thanks and goodnight!

Re: SysTray Monitor - Battery percentage or memory usage on notification bar
Once you install the program open it. It'll give you a several choice on what you want to show on your taskbar. Select battery then press hide. Now you should see the battery percentage on the top right in your task bar. If you slide the task bar down it will show u other usage like RAM SD card.

Re: SysTray Monitor - Battery percentage or memory usage on notification bar
Sup guys. Just going to trade some information here.
First of all, just about any battery life display widget will inadvertently drain battery life. That's a give. The percentage will probably be small, but if anyone has true statistics I'd appreciate it. SysTray Monitor is nice, I used it for awhile and only had one problem with it. If you turn on the CPU taskbar widget you'll notice that it's constantly using 5%+/- of your CPU. This may just be CPU widget relevant but I'm not sure. Last but not least, I use OS Monitor. While it doesn't have a tray battery icon it does have a CPU, but if you're extra nerdy it has wayyy more information to display than SysTray. It does the same 5% CPU bull though, so be weary.

Probably won't be too drastic. But if it is using the 5% that it claims, then it might be. |

Re: SysTray Monitor - Battery percentage or memory usage on notification bar
The best one I have used is called Battery Indicator it does not do any polling just receives the OS broadcast of battery state therefor no battery drain. You can buy the full version (i did) and then the indicator will also change color with battery drain. You can find the free version by typing battery indicator into market.
Also there is not a way to remove the stock batter icon. |
