Re: Best Camera Settings?
Using the stock settings for the camera I get alot of dark places and shadows in my pictures. How do I lighten up my shots but still maintain vibrant color and keep graininess to a minimum?

Re: Best Camera Settings?
Setting the camera to take 4:3 instead of widescreen pictures also helps on quality
4:3 (standard) 3264 x 2448 5:3 (widesreen) 3264 x 1952 |

Re: Best Camera Settings?
manually set the iso and light source helps the most. The artifacts are coming from the auto setting for the iso or shutter speed. You can see the difference on your screen if the colors look wrong first change the light source filter ie daylight cloudy florescent lights vs incandescent lamps. Then change the iso the higher the number the brighter the picts. So in lower light use a higher iso in in brighter lights use a lower outdoors use 100 indoors 200 lower light indoors try 400 I do not think I would really try anything higher unless you are trying to take outside or really dark picts.

Re: Best Camera Settings?
My Flash REALLY blows out people at night, any way to help this? Example:

Re: Best Camera Settings?
Back up from your subjects a bit for the flash problem.
Graininess comes from a High ISO rating. The higher the ISO the lower the light conditions you can shoot in. If you are out in bright sunlight, turn your ISO down to kill graininess. If you are in low light. Your shots will just be grainy. |
