Unrevoked root is simple enough to do and simple enough to remove.

Does it support all 3 security protocols that the Hotspot supports? For instance, the Netflix Roku box only connects on WPA (TKIP). The Hotspot also supports WEP (12, WPA2 (AES), and None. How does this compare?

Sucks... My Evo picks up 4g just fine at the airport.. Then again I wasn't inside when i tried it. Did you try a prl update dunno if that has anything to do with it since I get 4g even here in hermitage about 12 miles away from the airport as well. Infrastructure is nice

I thought the unrevoked root already had free wi-fi tethering? What is the point of this then? If it worked with an unrooted device that would rock!
