I'm okay with waiting...my contract doesn't end till August so hopefully there will be a better deal on the phone and most of the bugs ironed out by then through some updates... iphone 4 is looking pretty tasty too...

I was planning on getting the EVO this week when i get paid and since my TP1 just died(it must of knew it was getting replaced so it died out of spite lol), i really need a phone.

I just came back from the RS in Brunswick Square Mall on Rt 18 in Central NJ and to my surprise the guy there told me they sold ZERO EVOs. He said they had a few in stock for preorders but no one preordered from that store so now they have EVOs looking for a home. It's a diamond in the rough for situations like this because no one really knows it's there......UNTIL NOW! Just a fyi for those that may want to get the phone. LoL

If you didn't pre-order you won't get it until july most likely, or just order it online.

the only thing i hate about ordering from the shack is that i wont be unboxing the phone my self for the very first time.. and thats the point

Yeah, I'm going to check around at the radio shacks and best buys within 50 or so miles and see if they have one, but if that fails, which I'm assuming it will, I'll have to see if my mother can loan me some since I wont really have the money to pay the xtra 100 that gets rebated. well i would, but I would like to eat this week too lol

I walked into BB at 9:30 after working out on June 4th ....walked in and asked if they had any more EVOs.....

The employee pulls out the EVO and the bluetooth headset and I was out of there within 20 mins.

I suggest just walking into some locations and just ask . It wont hurt.

My mom said no way, she won't pay for ANYTHING.

I work at the shack and i let ppl do there own unboxing if they wanted, besides we were just waiting on sprints system the hole day anyway

FYI...buy from HTC's website...they do the same when it comes to the Rebate thing, it's instant...$199 shipped, free shipping....plus your getting it from the Manf...

I also have to wait till August 1st, hopefully all the bad stuff is ironed out by then...I think it will be..otherwise I'll wait till Sept or so...
